Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in various domains, including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to support each child's individual needs.
- Observe and assess children's progress regularly to tailor instruction and provide feedback to parents.
- Implement effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom.
- Stay informed about best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in childhood development or early childhood education is essential.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and curriculum development for preschool-aged children.
- Experience with infant care, toddler care, or daycare settings is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and staff members.
- A nurturing attitude with a genuine passion for teaching young children.
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is beneficial.
