Responsibilities
- Deliver lesson plans provided by the regular teacher, ensuring that students remain engaged and on track with their learning objectives.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, fostering a respectful and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
- Provide support in subjects such as Math and other core areas, adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Assist in lesson planning when necessary, contributing ideas that align with childhood development principles.
- Supervise students during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and any incidents that occur during the school day.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is essential.
- Familiarity with childhood development concepts and practices is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in Math or other academic subjects to support student learning effectively.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
- Experience working with children on the autism spectrum is a plus.
- Previous experience in private schools or preschool settings is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with students and staff.
