Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. This role requires a strong commitment to early childhood education and the ability to engage with children in a meaningful way.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Educate children through play-based learning, hands-on activities, and creative expression.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the overall growth of each child.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Qualifications
- High school Diploma/GED
- Pass background check and fingerprints
- Complete required trainings
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in settings such as daycare, nannying, or special education is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children are essential qualities for this role.
- Certification in First Aid/CPR is a plus but not required.
