Job Description: Part-Time Afternoon Nanny Position
Location: Cos Cob, CT
Start Date: March 17, 2025
Compensation: Weekly salary $600 for 20 hour work week (perhaps more for the right candidate)
About the Family
- Two children:
- 3.5 year old girl
- 10 month old girl
Schedule
- Monday to Friday: 3:00PM - 7:00PM
- Potential for weekend hours (additional pay for weekend hours worked, at $30 an hour)
- 15 paid days off per year major holidays paid
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care for two children.
- Provide swim supervision for the children (family belongs to a pool club close to the home, and nanny may be asked to bring the children there to swim).
- Safely driving children to activities.
- Prepare healthy meals for the family.
- Assist with laundry for the family.
- Assist with errands for the family, including grocery shopping, and help to manage household appointments.
Requirements
- Recent experience caring for an infant.
- High-energy personality and ability to keep up with active children.
- COVID vaccinated.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Organized, proactive, and capable of thinking on the go.
- Basic kitchen skills for meal preparation.
