Rising Sun Montessori School is seeking teachers for the 2024-2025 academic year. RSMS is a well established and growing charter school within the Buckeye Union School District located in El Dorado Hills adjacent to the greater Sacramento area, California. It is a beautiful small suburban community in the Sacramento area, within two hours of San Francisco (to the west) and the beautiful Sierras and Lake Tahoe (to the east). Candidates should be enthusiastic about working in a charter school alongside a qualified staff and school board made up of area administrators and business professionals. In addition, candidates should have a passion for working with children and families, and a clear understanding and working experience with the Montessori Method.
Duties and Responsibilities
This position will teach a mixed grade Middle School class, with students who attend school M-F 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 pm. The school year will begin in August 2024 and conclude May 2025. We expect all faculty to be fully engaged in the life and mission of the school.
Teacher Requirements
Education requirements: A valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. We are recruiting faculty who have made a deep, career-long commitment to Montessori teaching.We prefer a Montessori certification, but will consider candidates willing to obtain one.
