Position Description
The Event Operations Webinar Coordinator will coordinate all aspects of webinar hosting, including, but not limited to, material preparation and set-up, planning and communication with colleagues and participants as assigned to assure that these programs meet the needs of participants and the standards of Risk & Insurance Education Alliance. This position includes providing technical support for virtual live educational sessions while upholding RIEA procedures. Work with contracted faculty to communicate course details, webinar platform functions, and ensure live webinar sessions are run with consistency.

Position Description

Responsibilities
- Prepare necessary equipment/material for each assigned webinar and review logistics with faculty at start of webinar, professionally.
- Enter poll questions in advance of the webinar and launch/monitor the polls during the webinar.
- Participate in Team meetings; in person/virtual.
- Organize all necessary presentation material with faculty, assist faculty with setup, confirm they are prepared for the assigned webinar.
- Work with faculty throughout the webinar to make sure the presentation runs smoothly and provide technical support and troubleshoot issues if needed.
- Answer participants' technical questions and resolve issues during the webinar. (non-content related).This may include communicating with other departments to gather information for the participant.
- Must be available to assist during the entire webinar session.
- Download chat logs after each session & save them in the appropriate event folders.
- Other duties as assigned.
- GoToWebinar & GoToTraining platform experience or other webinar platforms including but not limited to Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.
- Must have high speed internet.
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule in multiple time zones and some evenings.
- Ability to work with different personalities professionally, and with a calm demeanor.
- Must be able to multitask and work in a high pressure, low error operational environment.
- Solid Microsoft Office skills.
- Must be very comfortable using a laptop, mobile device, and additional monitors.
- Ability to relate to people. Must be able to communicate with participants effectively and professionally.
- Willing to go above and beyond to create a positive participant experience.
- This position does not supervise any employees.
- Day-to-day this position is hybrid and can be performed from our climate-controlled office, with normal office noise, or can be performed from a location of your choosing-the choice is yours. We have a few internal/external events throughout the year that the Event Operations team is responsible for setting up, breaking down, and attending.
- The physical demands of this job include sitting in a stationary position in an office environment.
- This is a part-time position, and working hours are Monday – Friday, hours vary from 6:00am CST to 8:00pm CST.
Salary : $18 - $20
