**This role will require 3 days per week onsite. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Offices located in Sylvania, Bowling Green and Defiance, OH**
Position Summary:
The Benefit Analyst/Benefit Coordinator is responsible for helping clients move from paper-based benefit management to online solutions. Works closely with VP of Business Development and Benefits Account Executive and direct support to the Benefits Account Manager to retain and expand customer relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain functional online enrollment systems to assist in Human Resource functions for clients in various industries.
- Create educational materials on multiple channels in order to smoothly implement new software in the workplace.
- Maintain accurate client data in online systems and censuses.
- Analyze plan requirements to create a functional enrollment tool.
- Work closely with carriers to integrate EDI feeds and maintain accurate enrollment.
- Create custom client reporting to assist in the administration of plans.
- Collaborate with the Benefits Account Manager to maintain accurate plan information, and handle customer inquiries and requests.
- Advising clients in the completion of Section 6055 and 6056 reporting, including selecting the correct vendor and understanding form coding.
- Keeping abreast of provisions and changes to IRS regulations of ACA employer reporting and creating plans to keep clients informed and in compliance.
- Maintain client data storage and record keeping in Agency Management System.
- Complete continuing education requirements in order to renew health and life insurance license.
- Participation in various community events and activities.
- Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
- BA/BS preferred

- Ability to obtain a Life, Accident and Health Insurance License within 90 days of hire
