This is a newly created position for a new terminal shop location. Pay is based on experience. $65,000 - $110,000 range
***Must have AT LEAST 2 YEARS of Heavy Duty Mechanic Experience!***
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise daily operations of the shop.
- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Train and oversee shop employees.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard new employees.
- Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide feedback for improvement.
- Create employee schedules and manage time-off requests.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of training and development principles.
- Familiarity with recruiting and employee orientation processes.
This position requires a candidate who can effectively manage a heavy-duty repair shop and supervise employees. The Shop Manager will also be responsible for training development. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role. Experience in shop and service management is required.
