Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage their seating arrangements efficiently.
- Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times to guests accurately.
- Assist in managing reservations and ensure smooth transitions between dining experiences.
- Provide information about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies to guests.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating strong phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Utilize POS systems (such as Aloha POS) to assist with reservations and guest management.
- Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization in the host/host area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or customer service roles is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; experience with Aloha POS is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members.
- A proactive approach to helping others and providing outstanding guest services.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
