Advanced Manufacturing Engineer
Seeking an experienced engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team focused on developing and improving medical devices. This role involves working on new and next-generation products, line extensions, product enhancements, and technology transfers. The ideal candidate is capable of independently managing complex tasks such as product prototyping, testing, data analysis, report writing, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative solutions for innovative medical devices.
- Execute complex engineering tasks related to product design and specification development.
- Manage technology transfer projects, including timelines, budgets, and documentation.
- Attend surgical cases, interact with surgeons, and analyze clinical insights to support sales teams and inform product development.
- Utilize computer-assisted engineering software for prototype design, test method development, and production support.
- Source and evaluate new materials and components from suppliers.
- Develop and execute validation protocols, test methods, and prototype evaluations.
- Analyze test data using statistical methods and generate reports on performance specifications.
- Lead complex projects, managing timelines, resources, and execution.
- Identify and recommend cost improvement opportunities through product, vendor, and design changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
- 3-10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of SolidWorks, project management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and related software.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
