Position: Billing Clerk

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing billing processes, ensuring accuracy in data entry, and maintaining financial records. This role is essential for supporting our accounts receivable functions and ensuring compliance with financial regulations, including SOX. The Billing Clerk will work closely with other departments to facilitate smooth billing operations and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Daily invoicing
- Reviewing invoices for errors
- Processing of credit memos
- Transmission of invoices to customers
- Scanning delivery receipts
- Assist with Month-end accounting functions
Experience
- Previous experience as a Billing Clerk or in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in data entry with a strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with coding, account reconciliation, and double-entry bookkeeping practices.
- Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and financial software applications is beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
