Our client, a nationwide provider of commercial lighting control systems, has an immediate opening for a Field Services Specialist in the New York City Metro area.
After undergoing a 10 week training program , a successful Field Services Specialist will drive for excellence in customer satisfaction, enjoy troubleshooting and setting up complex systems, and have a passion for learning new technology. Our client offers a broad portfolio of services to support our customers from initial design through implementation, ongoing management, and continual improvement of their total light environment.
As an FSE, you will be the face of the company in the field, delivering customer service and technical expertise. Your primary role will be to commission, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain cutting-edge and legacy systems at various commercial job sites, ensuring seamless operations for our clients.
This is a unique opportunity for a mechanically inclined professional with a strong background in electrical systems and a passion for hands-on problem-solving.
REQUIREMENTS :
- 5 years combined work / college / trade school experience with focus on Electro-Mechanical (or related) field.
- Experience with troubleshooting electrical systems
- Proficiency in computer operations (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.)
- Customer Service skills
- Willingness to travel and meet with a wide range of customers
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required.
- Travel approximately 20-25%,to job sites within the region.
