What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Device Sales Representative position at Risus Talent Partners?
Candidates must reside within 25 miles of downtown Houston to be considered.
What You’ll Do:
- Hit monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across the territory.
- Drive to hospitals and surgery centers to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Support surgeons and OR staff during cases; be present, prepared, and proactive.
- Present and promote company products to healthcare providers.
- Manage quotes, pricing proposals, and sales documentation.
- Attend trade shows and support training events to increase market awareness.
- Build rapport with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and key clinical stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date customer data and forecasting in the CRM.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
- 3–5 years of sales experience, ideally in medical devices or hospital/OR environments.
- Strong communicator who’s confident, coachable, and great at building relationships.
- Familiar with hospital procurement and surgical workflow.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Willing and able to travel extensively across the territory (up to 50% ).
