**Plant Manager Role Purpose**
The Plant Manager plays a key role within the Americas Management Team, with Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility for their facility. They are accountable for meeting production requirements in a safe, efficient, and ethical manner.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage production from order receipt to customer delivery, including materials planning, procurement, logistics, manufacturing engineering, quality assurance, environmental compliance, sustainability, safety, employee training, equipment maintenance, security, and continuous improvement.
**Requirements**
* 15 years of manufacturing leadership, project management, or equivalent experience.
* Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or similar field.
* Proven experience in leading teams, people development, strategic planning, risk management, and change leadership.
* Additional training or experience in Lean Manufacturing techniques, Six Sigma, TOM, or JIT manufacturing is required.

**Principal Accountabilities**
* Manage the P&L for the facility.
* Achieve target Operating Margin.
* Develop and prepare short- and long-range planning, policies, programs, and objectives.
* Ensure manufacturing operation meets production and quality requirements.
* Develop and implement plant loading and resource plans.
* Direct and monitor department managers to accomplish operations plan goals.
* Inform employees of communications, decisions, policies, and matters affecting their performance.
* Direct programs essential to manufacturing procedures, such as workplace safety, training, housekeeping, and compliance with standards and laws.
* Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) reflecting true performance and enabling continuous improvement.
* Develop talent within the workforce to meet current and future needs.
* Take proactive corrective actions as necessary and in accordance with company policy.
* Prepare budgets and manage resources effectively.
* Participate in cross-functional teams to improve business coordination and execution.
* Prepare reports to show performance to plans.
