Quality Assurance Inspector
Job Type: Full-Time | Non-Exempt
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to ensure that products meet customer specifications and company quality standards. This role is responsible for inspecting products, operating measurement equipment, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and analyze products to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality requirements.
- Operate and monitor the CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) for product inspections.
- Communicate effectively when products do not meet quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of findings and follow company policies and procedures.
- Recommend improvements to production methods to enhance product quality.
- Implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to use precision measurement tools and interpret blueprints.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Ability to acquire and apply job-related knowledge to improve performance.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Frequent standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Exposure to high noise levels, moving equipment, dust, fumes, and machine parts.
- Must wear required safety equipment.
- Visual acuity to read measuring devices, gauges, and blueprints.
