Traveling Modular Site Superintendent

A leading modular construction company is looking for an experienced Traveling Site Superintendent to oversee projects across multiple states. This role requires extensive travel and strong leadership in managing commercial construction projects from start to finish.

Position Details:

• Location Preferences: South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri (open to candidates from anywhere in the U.S.)
• Travel: 90% (weeks at a time, some military projects may require 7-day workweeks)
• Industry: Modular and commercial construction

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage construction projects ranging from $200K - $2M
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and consultants
• Ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards
• Maintain a safe and compliant job site
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and internal teams
• Conduct inspections and assist with permitting and estimating
• Utilize construction management software for reporting and tracking

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Superintendent (5-7 years preferred)
• Industry Knowledge: Strong construction background, experience with site development and civil work preferred
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Procore, SAGE 300, Dynamics 365, or similar tools
• Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and engineering drawings
• Certifications (Preferred but not required): EM 385-1-1, OSHA, CSOC/CCQM/CQM-C, Fall Certification, CPR
• Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using iPads and digital documentation tools

Clearance Requirements:

Due to work on classified and nuclear projects, candidates with DUI, child support issues, or certain criminal records may be ineligible.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
