What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automation Engineer position at RIT Solutions, Inc.?
Required :
- Bachelor of Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent experience in related fields.
- 5 years' experience engineering, developing, and supporting MFT solutions (we are a TIBCO shop but experience with other tools like IBM Sterling, File Gateway, connect : Direct, etc. will be considered).
- Strong experience in protocols / technologies such as FTP, SFTP, FTPS, SSH, SSL, HTTPS, AS2, and secure file transfer methodologies.
- Understanding of encryption algorithms (PGP, SFTP / SSH, etc.), secure file transfer practices, networking / network protocols, firewalls and how they interrelate with MFT.
- Extensive Scripting / Development experience and mindset (examples include Java, JSP, PERL, Python, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills, someone with the ability to troubleshoot problems and attributes to find the most appropriate technical solution (with a focus on MFT).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and flex when priorities change.
- An ability to influence through teamwork and collaboration.
- A passion to provide world class customer service.
- Ability to provide 7x24x365 on call support.
