We are looking for a Java Architect who can relocate to Fort Lauderdale.
Skills needed : Java, AWS, CICD pipelines
This needs to be onsite as of day 1, so please do not send me candidates who need initial remote.
This is an architect role focusing on Java, react but more on architecture side (web, ecommerce)
Must have knowledge of infrastructure to do deployments
Microservices architecture, and spring boot experience
The Sr Web Architect, Product Engineering is responsible for architecting and overseeing
development, testing, and deployment of our digital platform. Responsible for leading digital innovation and technical strategy for our guest-facing web applications. Conduct high-level analysis to optimize an existing website for navigability. Provide guidance on performance issues, search engine optimization (SEO) potential, and usability. Determine the structure of a website and how they can connect various applications to improve the user experience.

This role encompasses ownership of the customer online experience portfolio that includes vacation search capabilities, cruise reservations, reservation amend functionality, pre-cruise purchases and content management systems. It requires deep technical expertise in building modern, responsive Web applications, setting standards for the organization, and building the proper architecture. A customer mindset, positive relationships throughout the organization and excellent delivery are key attributes for the this role.
This is a critical role at client and the successful leader will enable us to pursue our vision of being a guest centric, best in class online presence in the cruise industry. The role demands a high level of cross team collaboration.
This role will also be responsible for delivery and the evolution of agile best practices, unit test automation and continuous improvement within the ecommerce organization as well as product quality.
