The Candidate to search for :
Finding someone with Hybris is ideal but not required. Just need to have strong ecommerce experience.
This is not an Architect role. They will not be creating new architecture. A major part of this role is designing solutions.
This is a client facing role so communication must be great.
The Business Solutions Lead Architect will work cross-functionally with the manager, members of IT, and Digital. eCommerce & Marketing business teams to create a culture of high-quality execution. This role will serve as the principal technical resource and business partner for the SAP Commerce B2B and B2C eCommerce portal effort and its implementation and enhancement to ensure that the company is properly positioned for future growth.
Required SAP / eCommerce Skills Needed
Minimum 10 years of experience in the eCommerce space gathering requirements, including configuring and customizing an eCommerce system.
SAP Commerce B2B and B2C.
SAP experience preferred.
Research modern technologies, and the marketplace to use these technologies to better eCommerce applications.
Mentor and coach, junior solution architects.
Work with the business team to understand the business requirements and map them into SAP Commerce functionalities that will serve as user stories or use cases for technical teams.
Lead complex business requirement discussions. Gather, evaluate and document business needs and requirements and translate these into functional specifications and / or user stories.
Participate in design discussions of issues, enhancements, and projects, providing technical expertise on the SAP Commerce
Experience communicating complex eCommerce constraints and opportunities to non-technical decision-makers.
Provide demos when needed.
Recommend approaches to increase revenues and profits for the business by implementing eCommerce / multichannel initiatives, both at strategic and tactical levels.
Design user interaction models, workflows, and user interfaces.
Communicate conceptual ideas.
Provide in-depth knowledge of the SAP Commerce platform and related products.
Stay up to date with best practices and innovation initiatives in the eCommerce environment.
Demonstrates strong technical knowledge of SAP Commerce Module, SAP ERP systems and other application systems, equipment capacity, limitations, and operation time.
Has a good understanding of industry requirements.
Familiar with relational database concepts, and client-server concepts.
Communicate effectively with both end-users and IT staff, as well as business management.
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Manage work relations and deliverables with 3rd party eCommerce partners and internal IT.
Maintain strong business user and stakeholder relationships while prioritizing issues with enhancements and providing honest feedback on deliverable dates.
Ensure all systems are aligned with the IT long-term
Highly developed problem-solving skills, tenacity, drive, proactive, creative, sound planning and organizational abilities, strong improvement focus, and ability to work in a fast-evolving and fast-paced.
Have a structured approach to design.
Excellent English language skills (verbal & written).
Great presentation and organizational skills.
A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
