Responsibilities
Design, develop and deploy network infrastructure across WAN, LAN, wireless and remote environments,
ensuring it meets the company's needs for performance, reliability, and security.
Monitor network performance, conduct regular health checks, and optimize network operations to ensure high
vailability and efficiency.
Develop and implement robust network security protocols to protect sensitive financial data and ensure
compliance with industry regulations including firewall configuration and management.
Manage / monitor network operations ticketing queue for service requests to resolve network issues and
Implementation tasks.
Manage network documentation : maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes,
nd procedures to ensure transparency and facilitate troubleshooting.
Perform on-site and remote technical support and system administration of various networks, servers, and
systems
Troubleshoot network issues : quickly identify and resolve network issues escalated from lower tiers of support
to maintain optimal network performance
Collaborate with IT and business teams : work closely with other IT and business teams to align network
infrastructure with business goals and support various projects and initiatives.
Contribute to technical strategy, policies, and procedures.
- minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in network engineering roles.
- Excellent knowledge of foundational network technologies and protocols (IPv4, IPv6, OSPF, BGP, Multiprotocol MPLS, SD-WAN, Route Optimization, Policy-Based Routing, DNS, DHCP, Multicast, VPN, Wireless 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac)
- Hands-on experience with multiple network platforms (e.g. Cisco, Fortinet, F5, Palo Alto, Juniper, HPE)
Industry-recognized certifications in networking, IT infrastructure and cloud platforms (e.g. MCSE, CCNP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field; a master's degree is a plus.
Experience in Institutional Asset Management or other financial services industries.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical acumen, with the ability to tackle complex challenges in
structured, methodical manner.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to articulate technical concepts to
diverse audiences and collaborate effectively across organizational levels.
