Sr. Ruby on Rails Engineer - Remote - IBM
- Experience in all aspects of Ruby on Rails application definition, design, development, and testing
- Must have Ruby on Rails upgrade experience
- Expert ROR application software development and programming skills throughout all layers of a technology stack
- Understanding of benefits and use cases for typical design approaches, especially Object-Oriented Design patterns, and familiarity with application architecture standards
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex problems or processes that span multiple business areas, identity, and understand requirements, and develop alternate solutions
- Familiarity with automated testing practices
- Experience integrating solutions with other applications and platforms, internal and / or 3rd party
- Specific technologies : Ruby on Rails, Javascript, Angular, React, MySQL, GQL / rest APIs, AWS
