Sr UX Designer - Rapid Experimentation Long term contract - 6 months to start, ongoing / rolling 3 month extensions M-Th in-office; Friday WFH. San Francisco, CA 94133 This Rapid Experiment team is unique, in that they are constantly and quickly iterating features on the website, ultimately to see what changes may drive business value and conversion on the website.
- Rapid Experimentation program is all about identifying friction points in the ecommerce experience (s ite entry, product page, product finding, search, checkout, etc.) and producing solutions / tests to run to optimize each aspect of the funnel.
- This comes down to "rapid UX discovery" (coming up with a point of view on a feature, looking at analytics, competitive audit, research, proof points, session replays, etc.) and turning multiple designs around quickly to test.
- A candidate for this role must be able to deliver effective interaction design solutions in fast-paced environment, have strong presentation and communication skills, with thick skin, able to iterate and move on as needed or if a test / design fails.
T his role is different than a "classic" UX design role, as they do not follow the "normal" process of conducting customer interviews, doing usability testing, etc.
