ROLE DESCRIPTION :
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering guidance related to our insurance products and services. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of insurance policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities :
- Customer Support :
- Provide detailed information about insurance policies, coverage options, and claims processes.
- Assist customers with policy changes, renewals, and cancellations.
- Problem Resolution :
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor when necessary.
- Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
- Policy Management :
- Ensure all customer information is accurate and up-to-date in the system.
- Assist customers in understanding their billing statements and payment options.
- Sales Support :
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide leads and support sales initiatives.
- Documentation and Reporting :
- Prepare and submit regular reports on customer service activities and performance metrics. Qualifications :
- Education :
- Must obtain P&C Insurance license in CA
- Experience :
- Knowledge of insurance products, policies, and regulations is a plus.
- Skills :
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in using customer service software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
Review and process policy applications, endorsements, and renewals.
Identify opportunities to upsell additional coverage or products that meet customers’ needs.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in customer service, preferably within the insurance industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Friendly, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
Salary : $20 - $25
