Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our dynamic food service team for the 2025 season. As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest standards of product quality and guest experience.
We are a seasonal business that operates from late February through late October. Employees have to opportunity to return the following season.
Applicants should be available from the start of the season through the middle of August if leaving for college, or available through the end of October, otherwise. Team members must be available at least two days during the week as well has have weekend availability, as it is our busiest time.
We are currently looking to fill both opening and closing positions.
If applying as an opener, you must be 18 years or older in order to operate the equipment used in making products for daily operation and be available Monday-Friday from 10am-5pm during the week as well as have weekend availability.
For closing positions, you must be at least 16 years old and be available to work from 5pm-10:30pm during the week as well as have weekend availability.
Pay begins at minimum wage, $16.35 an hour. Once training is completed, employees can begin earning tips which are typically an additional $5-$10 an hour.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly as they enter the store.
- Help customers understand the different menu items and answer any questions they may have.
- Ensure order accuracy as well as serve a quality product according to brand standards.
- Ensure guests receive a great customer experience every time they visit.
- Handle cash payments accurately using our POS system.
- Clean, sanitize and maintain store.
- Must be able to multi task and complete a shift responsibilities checklist while making product and serving customers during shift.
- Follow opening and closing procedures quickly and efficiently.
- Be able to life up to 50 lbs and be comfortable being on your feet during the entire shift.
- Comfortable working off site catering events as a team or individually.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or customer service is preferred but not required. All training will be provided.
- Must have basic math skills in order to accurately handle customer transactions
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards customers and fellow team members.
- Must be able to take direction from leadership.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Need to have reliable transportation
- Must be punctual and have good time management.
