We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Assistant Manager to lead our team and create an unforgettable experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will embody the joy and excitement that our brand delivers and inspire their team to do the same. As Assistant Manager, you will assist in the day-to-day operations, ensuring the store runs smoothly while driving business success and delivering top-notch customer service.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Supervision of Rita’s Team Members: Inspire, motivate, and lead the team by example, creating a positive and engaging work environment that reflects our store’s mission of joy and excitement.
- Based on store needs, make recommendations for hiring, assist in the hiring process, and training of all new team members.
- Assist in training new team members on ice and custard production techniques and customer service best practices.
- Assist in scheduling all staff shifts by balancing between forecast needs and labor costs.
- Manage pickups, delivery, and on location staffing for catering orders as needed
- Ensure enforcement of food safety procedures.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and cleaned according to health and safety standards.
- Work closely with ownership/management to meet revenue objectives.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through staff training, monitoring, and coaching, and resolve all store related customer issues promptly.
- Ensure smooth daily store operations, including customer service, inventory management, and store presentation.
Requirements include the following
- Availability to work opening, closing, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work and manage independently.
- Minimum High School diploma/GED.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
