What are the responsibilities and job description for the Franchise Development Project Associate position at Rita's Italian Ice?
The Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard Franchise Company is seeking a passionate and dedicated Project Manager to play a key role in the success of our growing franchise system. As we continue our expansion, this individual will ensure our franchisees are equipped with the necessary support throughout the Real Estate and Construction process.
Key Responsibilities
- Development Support: Manage logistics for new store development and existing store relocations, working closely with Development Team, Marketing, Operations, Consultants/Vendors, Franchisees, Developers, and Operations Partners.
- Project Tracking: Perform and maintain accurate development tracking reports, including managing approved Contractor/Vendor Lists, and conduct follow-up conference calls and communications for construction project tracking and progress reporting.
- FranConnect Management: Update all department-related information on FranConnect Shop Management program, including lease and development tracking.
Requirements
- Education: 2 or 4-year degree in construction, construction management, real estate, business management, or related discipline, or relevant experience.
- Experience: Experience with development involving franchisees or direct customers, knowledge of commercial construction, and some real estate principles and acumen associated with multi-unit development.
- Skills: Ability to impact the course of events through coaching, counseling, and influencing others, excellent communication and presentation skills, highly effective Microsoft Word and Excel operating skills, and ability to build and maintain high-performing cross-functional and collaborative working relationships.
