What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Manager position at Rita's Italian Ice?
Rita’s Red Bank is looking for a full time Shop Manager to oversee operations. The shop manager will coordinate daily restaurant management operations in the front and back of the house.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Follow company procedure for handling equipment, property and cash
- Coordinate daily Supervision of Treat Team Members
- Maintain inventory and order supplies
- Ensure enforcement of food safety procedures
- Schedule staff and shifts
- Train new employees
- Address customer complaints
- Work closely with ownership to meet revenue objectives
- Create Social Media posts
Requirements include the following
- Familiarity with restaurant management
- Availability to work opening, closing, weekends and holidays
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Knowledge of computers and industry technology
- Ability to lift 40lbs.
- Minimum High School diploma
