POSITION – PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE

POSITION BACKGROUND.

We believe farmers and ranchers are the unsung heroes of our world. They work tirelessly to feed a planet of some 8 billion people, rewarded with neither fortune nor fame, not even a thank you sir/ma’am.

Ritchey Livestock ID manufacturers a $1.00 plastic identification tag for livestock. While we owe farmers and ranchers so much more, the least we can do is to get this small task right for them. In our own, tiny little way, we can help them win the day.

JOB DUTIES.

• Pick and stack products from production line.
• Help run production equipment.
• Measure raw materials accurately so optimal levels of production can be met.
• Ensure quality control of products.
• Ensure the work environment is clean, safe, & organized.

WHO WE NEED.

Preferred Skills/Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Team player.
• Solid interpersonal communication skills.
• Punctual and dependable with an outstanding attendance record.
• Able to work at an efficient pace.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

JOB TYPE.

• Full time.
• Shifts available Monday-Friday Day and Night Shift.

PHYSICAL SKILLS.

• Must be able to repeatedly lift 50lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods at a time.

PAY.

• $15.00 per hour with paid holidays and vacation after 6 months.

REPORTS TO.

• Operations Manager

WORK AUTHORIZATION.

• United States (Required).

Eugene “Gene” Ritchey and his wife, Jo, founded Ritchey in 1964. Gene was raised on a dairy farm and became a lifelong farming and ranching businessman.
