The Accounting Manager will play a vital role in overseeing key financial operations, including month-end close, account reconciliations, budgeting, and financial analysis. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries for month-end and year-end close processes.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Develop, monitor, and analyze budgets and forecasts to support business objectives.
- Analyze profit and loss statements, identifying trends and providing actionable insights.
- Support financial planning and analysis efforts, including scenario modeling and variance analysis.
- Maintain and optimize ERP systems to ensure data accuracy and streamline processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership to drive financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong accounting background.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.).
- Experience with ERP platforms (e.g., Sage, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems) is required.
