Human Resources Manager
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for supporting the organization's overall HR processes and procedures. This position collaborate closely with leaders and managers to provide comprehensive HR guidance, solutions, and support across all areas of human resources. The Human Resources Manager serves as an advocate for both employees and management, ensuring alignment between HR practices and business objectives.
- Recruiting and staffing; Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organizations goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
- Employee orientation, onboarding, development, and training.
- Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organizations human resource information system (HRIS) Paycom.
- Employee relations; Investigate highly sensitive HR and Employee Relations issues, including: Conducting complainant, witness and subject interviews; Proposing remedial action based on investigation findings; Production of completed investigation documentation.
- Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys.
- Performance management and improvement systems; Drive annual performance review process.
- Policy development and documentation; Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Responsible for Bi-Weekly payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions. Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates and hours/pay for temporary employees.
- Compensation and benefits administration, including COBRA.
- Oversee and direct employee welfare, wellness, and health.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Facilitates professional development, training, and certification activities for employees.
- Company employee and community communication.
- Respond to employment verifications and unemployment claims.
- Performs other duties as required.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, or related field required.
- At least five years of solid HR experience.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
- Expert knowledge and usage of HRIS/Payroll platforms, preferably Paycom.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
