Company wide training occurs every day at Ritchey Metals and our employees drive the program. We have defined training career paths with opportunities for promotions and raises while only working 7 days in a 2-week span. All orientation is conducted at our HR location in Canonsburg, PA. Training will begin on your next scheduled shift.

Shifts Available:

• 7A-7P Sunday-Tuesday every other Wednesday
• 7A-7P Thursday-Saturday every other Wednesday

This position will work a rotating swing shift (12 hours per day, four days in a row, then three days off one week: 12 hours per day, three days in a row, then four days off the next week). This means a significant amount of time off per year equaling 180 days off a year.

All orientation is conducted at our HR location in Canonsburg, PA. Training will begin on your next scheduled shift.

Pay Shift Differentials:

• Sunday-Thursday night shift: $1.50 added to base rate
• Saturday-Sunday 7am day shift: $1.00 added to base rate
• Friday-Saturday night shift: $3.00 added to base rate

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking candidates who are quality focused, friendly, team players, and quick learners. This position consists of manual and physical labor in a supervised environment to meet the production demands of the company.  To be successful in this role you are:

• Required to lead by example in living the Ritchey Metals Core Values.

• Forklift License (can be earned at Ritchey Metals).
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task with few errors.
• Ability to apply problem-solving and common sense to various situations.  
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Continue to process ways of improvement
• Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment in the dock, plant and break room areas. This will include sweeping the floor periodically.
• THIS POSITION REQUIRES THE ABILITY TO LIFT AND/OR MOVE 100 POUNDS, REGULARLY EXPOSED TO OUTSIDE WEATHER CONDITIONS AND EXTREME HEAT AND VIBRATION.
