Compensation
- As you evaluate your career options, we recognize that salary is a key consideration. For this role, the pay range is $30.00-$40.00 per hour, with individual compensation determined by your unique skills, experience level, and other relevant factors

Enjoy a 4-day work week, 10-hours a day (Monday–Thursday Between 6:00am and 6:00pm).

What You Will be Doing:
Under the direction of the Controller, the Accounting Supervisor is responsible for directing and coordinating overall operations of Account Receivable (A/R), Credit and Collections, and Accounts Payable (A/P) functions. This person will directly supervise the A/R clerical accounting staff to ensure daily activities are completed timely, accurately, and in line with company processes. The position will also own the entire A/P process from invoice entry to cash requirements preparation. In addition, this role will contribute to monthly and annual financial close proceedings.

- Owns the entire A/P process including 3-way matching and coding of invoices
- Performs supplier statement reviews and resolves supplier discrepancies in a timely manner
- Generates weekly cash disbursement requirements for approval of payment
- Administers corporate credit card program
- Supports Concur Travel & Expense policy compliance and processing
- Prepares and reports annual 1099 process
- Supports fixed asset accounting process and related documentation
- Directly supervises A/R personnel and oversees A/R functions including appraising performance
- Provides Controller with customer credit limit support with information from credit organizations, banks, and company references
- Ensures accounts receivable transactions related to posting of customer payments are made on a timely basis
- Drives timely collection of cash receipts from customers
- Supervises collection accounts that have escalated from the A/R aging process
- Maintains and reconciles accounts receivable and accounts payable sub-ledger accounts including aging reporting to the general ledger monthly
- Provides regular customer/supplier account status reports
- Ensure operations accounting policies and procedures are documented and followed
- Distributes daily mail
- Other duties as assigned including training others on known processes
What You Will Bring:
Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in both accounts payable and accounts receivable in an ERP environment
- 1 year of experience with Microsoft Excel
- Quick and accurate data entry including ten-key
- Strong communication skills to interact with internal and external customers
- Proficiency in reading and writing in English
- Highly organized, self-motivated and can work independently
- Must be highly self-motivated, work with minimal supervision and be able to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills as well as excellent communication skills (both written and oral) with ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred:
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Post-secondary education in Accounting
