Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests and analyses using various types of equipment and technology.
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results through strict adherence to quality control standards and procedures.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide insights for patient care decisions.
Maintain laboratory equipment and instruments ensuring they are calibrated and functioning properly.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe and clean laboratory environment.
Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated with advancements in laboratory techniques and technology.
Qualifications :
Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field; Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science preferred.
Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT) in the state of New York.
Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a clinical laboratory setting.
Proficient in a wide range of laboratory techniques and equipment.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
