About the Role :
As a Sterile Supply Technician you will be an integral part of our healthcare team responsible for the decontamination sterilization and distribution of medical instruments and supplies. Your role is critical in preventing infections and ensuring that our healthcare professionals have the sterile tools they need to provide the highest standards of patient care.

Location : SUNY Syracuse NY
Schedule : FullTime
Salary : $30 / hr
Key Responsibilities : This list highlights primary duties but is not exhaustive.
Decontaminate and sterilize instruments medical supplies and equipment.
Assemble wrap and sterilize trays of instruments following established protocols and procedures.
Monitor and operate sterilization equipment ensuring proper function and safety measures are adhered to.
Maintain accurate records of items sterilized and supplies used.
Inventory stock and distribute medical supplies and equipment.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure supplies are available when needed.
Adhere to healthcare regulations and standards related to sterilization processes and infection control.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Certification in sterile processing and distribution preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a sterile supply technician role or similar position within a healthcare setting.
Knowledge of sterilization practices infection control and healthcare regulations.
Excellent organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
