**Responsibilities:**
A Rite Lite Signs (RLS) Project Manager (PM) has the versatility to manage a complex array of activities, people, personalities, and processes in order to accept and bring customer orders to successful completion. The PM must manage the order fulfillment execution through its various stages, extracting, retaining, and conveying critical information and juggling competing priorities to navigate through the implementation of the myriad of elements of a job. S/He must strive to maintain friendly relations with client representatives and provide effective interface and responsiveness with internal resources, while constructing a realistic project plan, and often balancing timelines and parallel completion paths, to ensure delivery of desired outcomes on time, via the scheduling of tasks and the coordination of delegated assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
· Permit Procurement: Assist Project Managers during the permit acquisition process, liaising with local authorities to secure necessary permits for sign installation projects. Stay updated on permit regulations and requirements, ensuring compliance at all stages of the project.
· Regulatory Researcher: Assist our sales executives by conducting thorough research on county and city regulations pertaining to signage installation. Stay abreast of zoning ordinances, building codes, and sign regulations to facilitate smooth project execution.
· Inspection Coordination: Assist project managers in coordinating inspections with relevant authorities, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and project specifications. Prepare documentation and facilitate site visits to ensure seamless inspection processes.
· Documentation Wizard: Maintain accurate project documentation, including permits, contracts, Invoicing and correspondence. Organize project files and records for easy access and reference.
· Problem Solving: Addressing issues and conflicts that arise during the project. Finding solutions to keep the project on track.
· Entry Level Project Management Duties: A project coordinator will also take on entry level projects of their own. For this the individual will need to ensure effective information is handed off from our sales executives, ensure project scope is thoroughly defined. Working art, production and install to plan projects goals, timeline and budget. Obtain permits and coordinate with vendors. Find potential risks and create a strategy to avoid the risks all together. Maintain clear and constant communication with vendors, team members, and clients from hand off to completion and Close projects effectively and efficiently.
Credentials and Attributes:
· Dedication to responsiveness and follow through with clients, vendors and team members.
· Proven experience in project coordination, preferably in the signage industry or construction field.
· Strong understanding of local building codes, zoning regulations, and permit processes.
· Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
· Proficiency in Google suite and Excel software.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
