What are the responsibilities and job description for the RPM Technician (Remote Patient Monitoring) position at Rite Med Group?
We are currently seeking an RPM Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, tech-savvy, and passionate about patient care. While experience is not required, prior work as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical setting is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track patient vital signs and health data via RPM platforms
- Conduct scheduled check-ins with patients via phone or video
- Document patient interactions and escalate clinical concerns to supervising staff
- Assist patients with setup and troubleshooting of monitoring equipment
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain accurate medical records
- Communicate regularly with the care team to support patient care plans
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience as a Medical Assistant or in a healthcare setting preferred
- Comfortable using computers, tablets, and healthcare technology
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
