What are the responsibilities and job description for the MAINTENANCE WORKER position at Rite of Passage Brand?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Performs work orders consistent with the individual’s ability. Examples of work orders: general building maintenance, changing light bulbs, minor electrical repairs, repairing drywall, painting, paneling, wallpapering, sheetrock work, hanging doors, adjusting locks and door hardware, fixing or replacing broken windows and screens, hanging pictures, minor plumbing repairs, unplugging drains, replacing leaky washers, re-lighting, replacing and adjusting heaters and controls, maintaining smoke detectors and emergency lights, maintaining and installing swamp coolers/air conditioners, replacing floor tiles, carpeting and linoleum, repairing roofing, grounds maintenance/irrigation if needed, new construction, etc.
2. Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment throughout the facility.
3. Responds to all emergency calls on the radio.
4. Performs new construction and any re-model work consistent with the individual’s ability.
5. Maintains the ROP vehicle fleet if needed and directed.
6. Completes required reports and documentation in a timely manner, where applicable, and provides management with required reports and advises of any problematic situations.
7. Complies with and implements the ROP Policies and Procedures as detailed in the appropriate manuals/handbooks.
8. Ensures the highest standards are maintained to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct and to ensure the program remains in compliance with agency licensing and ROP policies and procedures.
9. Assists with the correction of deficiencies and quality improvement efforts.
10. Attends and participates in all required meetings.
