AJATC is a secure residential program for at-risk male and female youth, located on 110 acres just outside of Little Rock, AR. Through our trained programming for staff, AJATC promotes a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as providing the unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. Our campus features residential student dormitories, on-site school and library, vocational training program, chapel, gymnasium, medical and an outdoor recreation area. Pay: $15.00/hour; can increase based on years of experience

What you will do: As the janitor, you will be a key member of the Ancillary Team, performing tasks related to maintaining the cleanliness of the facility. This may include (but not limited to) clean and sanitize staff bathrooms; vacuums, steam cleans and/or shampoos carpets, including stain removal; cleans, waxes and strips tile and linoleum floors; cleans windows, sills and window tracks; removes garbage; cleans out heater vents; cleans walkways, driveways, parking lots and loading docks; etc.
To be considered you should: Have an High School Diploma or equivalent, but not required ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry ~ Must meet requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having an active Driver’s License
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
