The Colorado Qualifying House is a Residential Treatment Center that provides male youth ages 18-20 with opportunities for positive growth through evidence-based interventions and innovative programming. With a deep commitment to improving the lives of youth and families, our program model has been developed with a focus on promoting positive change and goal attainment. The Colorado Qualifying House program subscribes to the four principles of effective intervention: risk assessment, addressing needs, providing individualized treatment, and ensuring fidelity. By following these core principles, Colorado Qualifying House guides youth behavior in positive directions while reducing recidivism risk.
Pay: Starting at $20/Hour

What you will do: The primary responsibilities of a Youth Mentor are to provide safety and around-the-clock supervision of at-risk youth. This position provides for the physical, personal and health needs of each student through individual counseling and behavioral/social/physical and educational skill development and provides an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the students.
To be considered you should:
- Must be a local resident!
- Have reliable transportation and be able to drive in winter conditions.
- Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect.
- Have a desire to work with troubled teens and at least 1 year of direct care experience with juveniles.
- Have experience in a supervisory role.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
