Canyon State Academy is located on a scenic 180-acre campus surrounded by a football stadium, an athletic center (gymnasium, padded wrestling room, a fully equipped weight room & more), a Farm student housing for 300 youth, a Thrift Store, Cafe and Barbershop open to the community. Free meals on site for staff. As well as 10% off Thrift Store and Cafe purchases for employees.
Pay: $86,000 a year

What you will do: The Assistant Lead Clinician position expectations are to support the clinical department providing mental health assessment and individual/group counseling sessions, continually monitoring and documenting youth’s overall adjustment and mental health well-being while being under Rite of Passage (ROP) and Office of Refugee and Resettlement (ORR) care. The Assistant Lead Clinician position belongs to a multi-disciplinary team who will develop and assure the implementation of a therapeutic plan and facilitating transfers and reunification planning for the youths. The Assistant Lead Clinician will assist the Lead Clinician in the logistic and compliance of the Clinical Department. The Assistant Lead Clinician position is subjected to work extended hours, including weekends, evening, holidays, and on-call rotation. It is required for the Assistant Lead Clinician position to maintain a high level of confidentiality due to the sensitive information they would be handling
To be considered you should: Possess a Master's Degree in related field~1 year of working with youth ~Bilingual in Spanish and English~ Must be licensed ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (we no longer test for THC), physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
Schedule: 5 days on 2 days off
