AJATC is a secure residential program for at-risk male and female youth, located on 110 acres just outside of Little Rock, AR. Through our trained programming for staff, AJATC promotes a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as providing the unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. Our campus features residential student dormitories, on-site school and library, vocational training program, chapel, gymnasium, medical and an outdoor recreation area. Pay: starting at $60,000 a year and increasing based on level of education and experience.

What you will do: The Guidance Counselor establishes, develops, and maintains positive working relationships with educational institutions on behalf of Rite of Passage, Inc. As a Guidance counselor, you will also provide individual counseling and help students develop graduation plans, as well as enrolling into secondary programs. This position is a key role on the Education team, ensuring students’ educational needs are being met.
To be considered you should: Possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree preferred ~ Case Management experience ~ Prior experience dealing with juvenile placement agencies ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
