Cheyenne is the capital city of Wyoming, located in the southeastern part of the state. Cheyenne was founded in 1867, the population is around 65,000 to 70,000 people, making it the largest city in Wyoming, though it's still relatively small compared to major cities in other states. Meadowlark Academy is a IV-E Eligible Residential Treatment Center that provides male youth ages 12-18 with opportunities for positive growth through evidence-based interventions and innovative programming.
Pay : $65,000 a year

What you will do : Provides the human resource functions for the sites including hiring and tracking all new hire trainings. This position will be responsible for conducting background check and fingerprinting on all potential applicants and employees in order to meet policies / procedures, state licensing standards and ROP polices / procedures. They will main accurate personnel records. The Human Resources Generalist will onboard all new staff and provide benefits administration. In addition to HR duties will work closely with compliance director to complete audits.
To be considered you should :
- Have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, business or related field and two years of Human Resources experience; or six years of equivalent experience as a Human Resources Generalist may be substituted. Master’s degree, certification and PHR are preferred.
- Have minimum of two years of human resources experience in employee relations, training and / or employment and knowledge of Federal and State employment
- Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical and TB test.
Schedule : Hours vary
5 days on 2 days off
