✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for Part-time Youth Care Workers at Walton Academy for Growth and Change in DeFuniak Springs, Florida✨
Located near the white sand beaches of Northwest Florida in DeFuniak Springs - At Walton Academy, we provide residential treatment to improving the lives of Youth through mental health and substance abuse services. We offer skills and opportunities to our youth from Carpentry/Home Building Institute to Culinary Arts.
Pay: Starting at $19 per hour. Hours not to exceed 29 per week.
What you will do: As a Youth Care Worker, you will provide 24-hour security and supervision to always ensure the safety of our Youth. You will monitor and document behaviors, monitor and join the Youth during Sports and Recreation time and assist and mentor the youth while they learn and develop within the program.
To be considered you should: Possess a High School Diploma or GED and 40 hours of college education OR have one-year experience working with youth in organized group activities and possess a valid Driver’s License.
Schedule: Will be discussed in interview process. Hours may not exceed 29 per week. Seeking those willing to commit to weekends, Sat/Sun schedule.
