Rite-Solutions, Inc is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mid to Senior Level Communications/Systems Engineer. You will provide direct support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD), Code 43 Sail, Hull & Deck Machinery Systems Team in support of Communication and Electromagnetic Systems (SCEMS).
Tasking will include analysis, design and capability enhancements and in-service support, as well as programmatic support. The ideal candidate will provide broad Systems Engineering expertise as part of an integrated technical team made up of Rite-Solutions and NSWCPD engineers. This position is hybrid, but has potential to be remote.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research existing documentation and system requirements to derive System Requirements Verification Matrices (SRVMs).
- Analysis of system performance metrics to determine how well systems meet requirements.
- Performance analysis of new implementations of control system algorithms.
- Research, review, and develop documentation such as Temporary Alteration (TEMPALT) Technical Development Packages (TDPs), Operational Alteration (OPALT TDPs, and System Development/Engineering Plans.
- Develop program status reports such as technical assessments, risk assessments and technical recommendations.
Requirements/Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, or experience in related field.
- 10 years of professional experience in Systems Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering.
- 5 years' experience designing electrical systems associated with US Navy HM&E Submarine Communications and Electromagnetic Systems.
- Formal training in Systems Engineering is highly desired.
- Firm grasp of mechanical and hydraulic systems is required due to the interfaces of electrical measurement of mechanisms present in these systems
- The candidate must be able to translate how the Integrated Management Schedule (IMS) and Integrated Management Plan (IMP) flows down to the Systems Engineering Plan (SEP), System Requirements, the System Requirements Verification Matrix, and all other required elements of a program plan.
- Must have excellent writing and communication skills.
- Position requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance with the US Government, and an active clearance is preferable.
