Garmin Aviation Avionics Installer

Rite-Way Aviation, an AeroHP company, is an FAA CFR part 145 repair station, Textron Authorized Service Facility and Garmin, Appareo, JP Instrument Aviation Dealer.

Experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and installation of avionics and electrical systems and equipment.

· Knowledge of Garmin, Bendix King, and Collins systems.

- Must have two (2) years of Garmin Installation experience.

· A broad overall knowledge of basic aircraft systems such as hydraulics, flight controls, electrical systems, powerplant, pitot and static, 91.411/91.413 etc.

· Ability to accurately interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, system schematics, drawings, engineering orders and other documents from both the customer and company. Experience with systems installations

· Fabricate per drawings and standard practices wire bundles and assemblies to include properly securing wires into bundles and termination of wires into a variety of contacts and connectors.

· Strong sense of urgency and willingness to learn.

· Possess electrical hand tools needed for avionics.

· Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.

· Experience in troubleshooting and problem solving.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area. Technician

A&P license preferred. AET certification (Aircraft Electronics Technician), FCC Radiotelephone Operators License preferred.
