Special School District’s (SSD) occupational therapist assistants (OTs) work with licensed occupational therapists. They are committed to identifying and mitigating specific barriers for students. As an SSD OT assistant, you will support the assessment of students’ physical limitations, developmental delays, and related abilities and assist in the implementation of therapy programs that ensure students have the support they need to excel to their greatest potential.

OTs work primarily during school hours, but occasional evening hours may be required. They are generously compensated and receive benefits, including insurance, paid time off and holidays, access to staff health clinics, and more.
