POSITION SUMMARY:
Plans, organizes, directs and controls the activities of the Operations function of the company a in designated region.
- Runs an operation of 8 to 10 million in sales a year
- Reviews performance against operating plans and standards
- Develops and recommends corporate operations policy within the Operations Department
- Coordinates and collaborates with other departments of the corporation in establishing and carrying out responsibilities
- Client/customer relation functions
- Reviews and approves the setting of budgets throughout the geographic location
- Manage property, vehicular, retail, sales and installer issues
- Responsible for staffing needs of the locations
- Handle any policy issues with drugs and alcohol and harassment
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Have at least three to five years of experience in successful Operations, including experience in the Flooring Industry.
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Have at least three years of managerial experience and exhibit proven ability to lead and manage employees.
- Possess and have demonstrated proficient computer experience in Microsoft Office.
- Be able to multi-task and prioritize the duties required.
- Exhibit effective oral and written communication skills.
- Be able to work independently and problem solve.
- Demonstrate the skills necessary to effectively integrate multiple programs.
