Position Overview:
We're seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Associates to join our team at our state-of-the-art fitness equipment showroom. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a passion for fitness, and the ability to provide exceptional customer experiences while helping clients find the perfect fitness solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to understand their fitness needs and goals
- Demonstrate fitness equipment and explain product features and benefits
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations based on customer requirements
- Process sales transactions and maintain accurate records
- Maintain showroom appearance, product displays, and cleanliness
- Assist with and restocking
- Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends
- Support trade show and exhibition events as needed
- Contribute to achieving team and individual sales targets
Requirements:
- Previous retail or customer service experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours
- Physical ability to demonstrate equipment safely
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Sales experience in fitness equipment, sporting goods, or related industries
- Knowledge of fitness equipment and exercise techniques
- Experience with POS systems and CRM tools
- Background in fitness, personal training, or athletics
- Passion for health and wellness
- Willingness to occasionally travel for trade shows or events
