SCADA Engineer


Location: Hybrid (Detroit, MI)

Relocation: Relocation expenses will be covered for full-time employees

Project Duration: Multi-year project


Job Description:

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Emerson OvationAllen Bradley logic, and programming.
  • Proficiency in TCP/IP networking and operating systems, including Windows and VMware.
  • Skilled in installing and terminating electrical connections up to 120v AC/DC.
  • Ability to create and interpret logic and flow diagrams.
  • Expertise in corrective actions, troubleshooting, repairs, and configuration of OT system assets.
  • Willingness to be on-call to support operational needs.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Manage Ovation/PLC data and system maintenance.
  • Participate in operations technology planning, infrastructure development, and technical research.
  • Design, install, and maintain network and communications infrastructure.
  • Support IT equipment management.
  • Troubleshoot new equipment and collaborate with vendors for maintenance.
  • Effectively communicate with teams and other departments to maintain strong working relationships.


Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical EngineeringComputer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Certifications required: Emerson Ovation Ov230 (minimum) and Ov400 (preferred), Allen Bradley PLCs.
  • Preferred certificationsFactory View SEME certificationsCCNAVMware.
