Ritsema Law is a multi-state workers’ compensation insurance defense law firm providing representation to clients in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, and Arizona. We are seeking an experienced litigation associate, licensed to practice in the state of UTAH , with 2-5 years of relevant experience in civil litigation, with a focus on workers’ compensation. The position can be in-office, hybrid, or fully remote. Candidates must reside in one of the following four states : Colorado, Arizona, Wyoming, or Montana . Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- The ability to manage cases independently
- Trial preparation and support
- Appearing at trial
- Post-trial motions and appeals
- General litigation support of other partners and associates
- Ability to interact with clients personally, ethically, and professionally
- Provide legal advice to clients on a wide range of issues
- Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings
- Develop and litigate cases
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
